PRIVACY POLICY

Who we are

Volucrete is an on-site volumetric concrete company based in Pacific Palisades, California, and the business responsible for this site and the information described here. This policy covers this website only.

What we collect

Four things, and nothing else:

• What you type into the quote form. Your name, and — if you choose to give them — your company, phone, email, project address, estimated cubic yards, preferred pour date, mix notes, and how you heard about us. Name, project address, cubic yards and preferred date are required; the rest is optional. We use the project details to price and schedule your pour; the "how did you hear about us" answer only tells us how contractors find us. We don't use any of it for anything else.
• Your email address, if you sign up for our email updates. The signup band near the bottom of some pages asks for one thing: an email address. Ticking the box next to it is the permission — we do not add anyone who did not tick it, and the box is never pre-ticked. We record the exact wording you agreed to and which page you signed up from, so there is a record of what you said yes to. We use it to send you ongoing marketing email about our service area, mix designs, pricing, and news — nothing else, and never to anyone else. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to delete the address outright (see “Reviewing or changing your information” below). Signing up is entirely optional and it is not connected to requesting a quote.
• Which campaign link brought you here, if you arrived on one. Marketing links we publish — an ad, a social post, an email — can carry tags in the web address that say where the link was posted (they start with "utm_", for example "utm_source=google"). If you arrive on a link like that, your browser holds those tags for the rest of that browsing session and sends them along with your quote request, so we can tell which campaign a job enquiry came from. These are our own tags on our own links: nothing is transmitted anywhere while you browse, no third party is involved, and no advertising profile is built. If you arrived any other way — typing our address, a plain search result, a bookmark — there is nothing to send and those fields go out empty. This does not depend on your cookie choice, because nothing is loaded or sent until you submit the form yourself.
• Analytics data, but only if you allow it. If you turn on Analytics, Google Analytics 4 records things like which pages you viewed, roughly where you are (from your IP address, which GA4 anonymizes automatically), and what kind of device and browser you used. If you don't turn it on, none of this is collected and no analytics code is loaded at all.

We do not run advertising or marketing trackers on this site. There is no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tag, and no session recording. If that ever changes, this page changes with it, and those trackers would load only if you opted in to the Marketing category first.

Cookies and your choice

Nothing loads until you choose. On your first visit you'll see a banner with two equal options — Accept All and Reject All — plus Manage preferences if you'd rather decide category by category.

• Necessary — always on, and cannot be turned off. This is one entry in your browser's local storage that remembers this cookie choice. It is not tracking, it is not sent anywhere, and no third party can read it.
• Analytics — off unless you turn it on. Loads Google Analytics 4. Never used for advertising.

One other thing can be stored in your browser, and it is neither a cookie nor a tracking category, so it is not in the list above. If you arrived on a campaign link, the "utm_" tags described earlier are held in your browser's session storage while you look around, so they still travel with your quote request if you read a few pages before filling in the form. It is cleared as soon as you close the tab, no third party can read it, and it is not sent anywhere unless you submit the form.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page. Turning Analytics off takes effect immediately — we switch Google Analytics off on the spot, so nothing further is recorded, and it won't load at all on your next visit.

To be precise about one edge: analytics tools batch what they've already measured and send it as the page closes. So a small amount of data gathered before you turned Analytics off may still reach Google as you navigate away. Turning it off stops new collection; it doesn't retroactively delete what was already collected. If you want that removed too, contact us and we'll ask Google to delete it.

We do not respond to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals — there is no agreed industry standard for how a site should act on one. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends GPC and you haven't made an explicit choice here, we treat it as a standing "reject" — nothing loads, and we don't even show you the banner.

Who else sees it

Three service providers, each only in the ways described here:

• Google (Google Analytics 4) — only if you allow Analytics. Google processes this as our service provider. We do not link it to Google Ads and we do not enable Google Signals, so your visit is not used to build an advertising profile.
• Our website host — serves this site and receives both the quote form and the email signup submissions so we can read them. Like any web host, its servers process your IP address to deliver the page.
• Our email service provider — email addresses from the signup band are held there so we can send you the updates you asked for.

We do not sell or share your personal information, in the ordinary sense or as "sale" and "share" are defined under California law. We don't trade it, rent it, or hand it to data brokers or advertisers.

Our social media pages

We keep pages on a few third-party social media platforms, and you may have arrived at this policy from one of them. Those pages sit on someone else's system. When you visit one, follow it, or message us there, the platform — not this site — collects and handles your information, under its own privacy policy and its own rules, which we don't control. If you want to know what it collects, read the policy of whichever platform you came from.

Platforms may show us aggregated audience statistics — how many people saw a post, roughly what areas or age ranges they fall into. That reaches us as counts, not names: we don't receive your individual identity from them. None of this changes anything on volucrete.com. There is still no advertising or marketing tracker on this site, no social media pixel or embedded feed on any page, and nothing loads here until you choose.

Reviewing or changing your information

If you've sent us a quote request and want to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted, email us at privacy@volucrete.com and tell us what you'd like — we'll action it and confirm when it's done. We don't require you to create an account or verify your identity through a third party to ask.

How to reach us

For privacy or data-rights requests, email privacy@volucrete.com. For anything else, the quote form reaches us and we read every submission.

Children

This site sells concrete to contractors. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or what loads, we'll update this page and move the effective date at the top. Material changes — a new tracker, a new category, a new recipient of your data — will be noticed on the banner itself, and any new tracking category will be off until you turn it on. We won't quietly start collecting something new under an old policy.
